mi ken toki toki. taso mi pilin e ni: sina wile toki e "mi ken ala ken toki toki?" anu "mi ken toki toki, anu seme?".
We can talk about language. But I think, you have to say "mi ken ala ken toki toki?" or "mi ken toki toki, anu seme?"

I don't know if we've had this already, but Modern Greek has ντ (nt) for /d/, μπ (mp) for /b/ and γκ (gk) for /g/. Most of them are only used in loan words, though.

Re: Creating idioms and slang in your conlang

Derovian (I am just going to cover the slang of the capital Soldôrin) slang is full of metaphorical new words and a few simplifications in grammar. Consonant mutation in standard-Derovian is applied to the last letter of the stem. Not in colloquial Derovian. Moreover, imperatives are shortened from ...

Doòdoòbaidoò

Hey peeps, New- Doòdoòbaidoo is an agglutinating ergative-absolutive language with VOS word order. As you see, I wanted to try something non-European and non-Asian this time. Any way, in the German thread also orthographic rules are allowed.
Besides, isn't orthography part of the grammar (if you follow the definition of "grammar ≠ just morphology&syntax")?

Game: Let's Reform English Grammar

Hey folks, this thread is actually just a copy from the German forum. ( http://aveneca.com/cbb/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3517 ) The topic is, as the title says, a stepwise reformation of English grammar and phonology. The rules: Below you'll find a sample text in normal English. Every post has to introdu...
