Re: What's your favorite word or phrase in your conlang (sound-wise)?

Sound-wise, I like words with consonant clusters, diphthongs and more than 2 syllables, though they appear less often than their basic counterparts in the conlang (simple CVC structure, monophthongs, 1~2 syllables), but I can't think of a word with all those properties right now. So, while this word...

Re: Help Needed for Conlang Song Project

Just upload the audio on some other website like Soundcloud or Clyp, then provide a link.

Also, my conlang must be written with its script, as it natively does not use abecedarian alphabets. It's easy to fit it into videos for a youtube channel, especially if images are used [:D]

I was simplifying the explanation of Philippine alignment. I may note in Episode 3 that fact, and an in-depth look will be a future episode.
Sure, no problem. Have fun with your youtube channel [:D]

Re: I just started a Linguistics YT Channel

Yay, someone mentioned my favourite alignment :D > Philippine alignment is very hard to understand. Nah, it's just that the Austronesian/trigger alignment is underused and wrongly explained by most conlangers ;) > The verb is marked (such) that the noun that takes a certain case marker is always in ...

Re: Help Needed for Conlang Song Project

Interested, but it would be helpful if you also show the actual song itself. Translations can be easier in a song imo, especially because of melody and rhythm.

Also, do you accept conscripts for this conlang translation?

I am cancelling this activity due to lack of interest. If anybody would like to lead a similar project in the future, feel free to do so.

Thank you to all participants, but your effort isn't wasted because you can still keep the results in your conlang portfolio ;)

Re: griuskant conlang thread

Congratulations, but my goodness, where do you find the time?! [O.O] I tried to consistently translate a few chunks each day. It's around 15 minutes per page. A typical Counter Strike, Overwatch or League of Legends pvp battle takes 45 minutes anyway, and if I can find time to play, well there's no...

Re: How Do YOU Create Words?

Whenever a new word is added, or even if it is after an automated process, it is manually cross-checked with other words to ensure its consistent phonotactics, no duplicates, and sometimes symmetry.
