"They don't stop coming, and they don't stop coming" (from Smashmouth 'Rock Star') was playing in the background, probably.
"Rock Star"? I believe you mean "All Star".

Re: Noun apposition compounds in other languages

We learned in Japanese class that "American CD" becomes Amerika no CD . Confusingly, Amerika no CD can also mean "America CD", i.e. A CD by the band that does the song "Horse with No Name". That's funny, I didn't really think about that. But it makes sense if you just consider no to be equivalent t...

Lozkazmat has reached 400 words, the 400th being këöz. Meaning "to fight" or "to wrestle".
Wow! It's growing faster than Kankonian grows!

At that rate, you'll reach a thousand words in no time!

Then we can make a book titled The First Thousand Words in Lozkazmat.

When Nakarian and Núta reach 100, be sure to post in this thread. Then we can have some e-cake.

What does this language consider a "voiced environment"?
Probably this: when neither adjacent segment is ‘ s h or word-final position. As a result, the stops would only be voiceless in clusters with those sounds or in word-final position./
What about /k/ and /t/? Aren't they voiceless too?

Re: Noun apposition compounds in other languages

If you would like to know about Japanese, if it uses an adposition/particle to form a compound noun, it will pretty much exclusively be the possessive no . However, the nominative ga and the genitive no are occasionally swapped out for each other, with no marking subjects in certain relative clause...

Fascinating. When I was a baby/toddler/preschooler I had severe speech impairments. My vocabulary and grammar were excellent, but I couldn't pronounce most of my consonants. I would use both hands and make them into the shapes of letters to spell out words to my parents and other people with whom I ...

I have a new undertaking with regards to Kankonian today. To find (and fill) gaps in the grammar and lexicon, I've decided to translate my Millennial rock musical The Bittersweet Generation (http://khemehekis.angelfire.com/bittersweetgen.pdf ) into Kankonian. My musical standing at 184 pages, this i...

My original idea with /h/ was that it was 'hard', almost /k/, but in the process of being lost. That might not make sense at all, though, so I'll probably either add a /k/ or replace /h/ with it.
