Re: Agyonnar

Actually, I don't know the proper terms neither, but nevertheless it's helpful :). I still have questsions about your gloss. First of all what is the particle "na" for? And is the word "change" a verb or a noun, so that "world change" is either a compound or a noun phrase or something alike? From t...

Re: Agyonnar

Thanks for the replies everyone. Contrasting / j / with / ʝ / and no velars was a central part of my phonology design from the very beginning. It's a better start, but being SOV and not having articles or nominal coding at all isn't particularly "Japanese-y". I suppose not, though Japanese's grammar...

Hai everyone! A phonology I'm working on, very early stages. Thoughts? Vowels Normal: /a o u i y e ø ʌ ɑ ɛ ɔ/ (Every normal vowel has an alternative long vowel version) Rhotacized: /a˞ o˞ u˞ i˞ y˞ ɚ/ Nasal: /ã õ ẽ ĩ/ Diphthongs: /ai ei oi ɑi ɛi ɔi au ɑu/ Consonants Plosives: /p t̪ c k b d̪ ɟ g/ Fric...
