Re: Help me defining my typologically undefined type of scri

So based on the given, I would say it is similar to Japanese orthography, except with an abugida instead of a syllabary. I make this assumption based on the dots that you have added supplying the vowels. Last question, do the vowels contain semantic information? Or are they just there for clarificat...

Re: (L&N) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

I'm not sure why I knew that from High School, Shim, but I doubt we were taught it specifically. I was one of those kids who would've asked after class for a fuller explanation of the verb and how it worked. I never settled for "you'll learn that next year" or "that's just what it means" even in ma...

Re: Polar struggle

Not every piece, but glaciers would take away most of the land via erosion, some of it ending in other areas. Look at the map given by Dezinaa, note how the Canadian Arctic Archipelago is many mountainous islands separated by small straits. That is probably what will happen to your land. Your island...

Re: Help me defining my typologically undefined type of scri

(I think Arabic(an abjad) has a ligature for "a" and "o") Then this isn't an abugida Is -**| one word? or us -**||-<...

In response to the notes about agriculture, The Akur only developed agriculture as they went closer to the suggested region. I put some stuff on the Teles page about their agriculture. So maybe that would help.

Re: Avârí Home World Building: Please Help!

I whipped up a quick space engine mod incorporating qwed's suggestions, and filling in the blanks with my own interpretations and some random data. Circumbinary system with a brown dwarf (class L3V) orbiting at 0.25 AU and a red dwarf (class M4V) orbiting at 0.5 AU, with Avaria orbiting at 1 AU. Al...

I assume that your paragraph comment is directed to me, to which I respond, I was never good at English anyways. And I didn't choose the name, I just simplified and changed the endonym to match English placename inflection (what I mean is "ia" at the end of placenames)
