do thy best, don't shove thyself too hard. (:qwed117 wrote:I need to stop conspeakmaking, and work on my homework.
by the way, thou canst say "speakmaking", as "con-" is from "constructed", which is not from Old English.

Wait, we should do what others do not want?k1234567890y wrote:It is said that if we don't want to be seen in a way we don't want, we should see others in a way they don't want; if we don't want to be handled in a way we don't want, we should handle others in a way they don't want.
I think this is more to be a way to beshield ourselves than a way to make everyone see and handle each other in the same way, indeed, one should not think others will see and handle them in the same way they see and handle others, and it is often true that when thou seest someone as thy friend, they don't see thee as a friend, and thou dost not see someone as a friend while they see thee as a friend, either.
Also, could anyone help me overset Old English terms into Anglish, like hæleþ, as well as old Theedish = Germanic, I think that's the sound changes for þiudiskaz to New English names?

maybe I made thee misunderstand, sorry for that.HoskhMatriarch wrote: Wait, we should do what others do not want?
Unless being harmed, thou mustest do what others want on anyone else, and thou shalt not think others must do what thou wantest on thee too.
There are times when thou mustest do goods on others, even though it is sicker that they will never do the same thing on thee.
Also, half of thy friends don't think thou art their friends, too.
I know something about Theedish speeches, but I am not that good at it, after all, I am not someone who delves in it a lot.HoskhMatriarch wrote:

Theedish, Thietish, Allmannish.
All understood, I ween.
As for hæleþ, hmm, Middle English had heleth, with manifold heleths, not helthen {Bowie fans
}.
AM (Anglish Moot) has 'heleth' from Old English, but also an aforebespoken 'white hat'.
CLD (Charles Louis Dessoulavy) puts forth 'stalwart'.
1) We can be heleþs een for one day.
2) We can be whitehats een for one day.
3) We can be stalwarts een for one day.
4) We can be winners een for one day.
Hmmm....
Insofar as "whitehats" are þought of,
I should eaþlins think of this fellow -

þose are not heleþ in my book, I'm afraid.

But what if we like helthen? The wear manyword for Haus should not have been Häuser, likewise we could have helthen if we sore wanted... I also thought there was another way of saying it as haleth/haleths.
Whitehat is like a whitehat hacker methinks... I could not note that for

Re: Anglish Spamthread
when thou wantest to make others have a feeling and take a run at something, thy feelings must be true, and thou mustest be sicker that others will feel the same as thou dost, otherwise, others will think thou art seeking to mislead them into doing and getting something they don't truly want to do like how a bad saleworker misleads their buyers.

I know sicker is an elder allmannish word: Theeds, Thiedes, Netherlanders, Northmen, Scotsmen all have it. However to me it smacks of Laeden securus.CMunk wrote:"Sicker" is a same-word* of "sick" in its withmetenly** shape.sicker = sure, certain

I bet I have used 'sicker' before, but I would also put forth 'iwis' as a kind of insteadwish.
