Who said Latin is dead?

And more seriously these perfects are one of the last traces of widely productive reduplication patterns in Not-Yet-Late and Late PIE; on the other hand the reduplicated nouns were usually made unrecognizable by the various sound changes in the daughter languages.
How could I forego mentioning the FHEFHAKED "he made" on the (recently declared authentic) Praeneste fibula? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Praeneste_fibula
FHEFHAKED will of course lose reduplication and evolve into classic

And of course I myself use and abuse reduplicated perfects in

SO they declared it authentic? I always get the Manios med fhefhaked and the DVENOS inscriptions' authenticities confused. Well, now both are in the clear. I have one thing to say:
FHEFHAKED!

Saluete omnes!
Hi everyone! It's time for me to get back at school, so I came here to revise in depth my knowledge of the latin language.
Per prolixum temporem hic confabulatio permanserat sine verbo.
This conversation has been left without a word for a long time.
Quasi potest diceri lingua latina mortua esse, RMG.
You could almost say that latin is a dead language, LOL.

Last year I read Catullo's and Cicerone's works.
anno venturo totum augusteum periodum me discere putatum est,
This year I'm supposed to study all the Augustean period,
sed saepe programmationes tardius incedunt.
but usually the programmes get covered more slowly.
Legebo magno gaudio Virgilii opera.
I am looking forward to read Virgil.

Quid putastis?
(Rectene dixi "verbum melium"? Non sonat recte, sed nescio cur.)
