Are people still interested in this?
I would also like to see some Japanese lessons, but I feel like I have taken on too much at the moment to really learn properly.

One request though would be to either use romaji or teach hiragana and katakana first. The Mandarin thread just expects people to be able to learn characters and isn't particularly helpful.
I've written up a bit already. I suppose I can post it and see if anyone is interested. I would definitely start with hiragana and katakana first, because without them you can't read Japanese at all.

Alright, I think I could write up a bunch of stuff ready for a first lesson if anyone's still keen on it? It is said after all the best way to learn something is to teach it. [:P]

Does anyone have Old English resources?
We start Beowulf soon and I'm super excited.

(Yes, obviously I can Google for 'em, but I'd take recommendations).

That might be interesting! I know a Yoruba man from my community college and he is very nice. Also, I probably have some Yoruba ancestor. And the language does not look very difficult.

Oh, and good luck in your course! [:D]

I thought you were giving Ithkuil lessons? Probably the best way to learn is to the look through the grammar on the Ithkuil site.

Does anyone know how to make a unicode-compatible Devanagari or other Indic font using opentype features? I have only a basic knowledge of opentype, and while I have had mixed success using opentype with the Latin script, my attempts with Indic scripts so far have failed. If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate some tips!

Does anyone know of any good Anglo-/West-Saxon reference grammars?

I've found a few online but I have a preference for bound type.

Once I make it fully functional, I'd like to have some labrats to test how easy my Alamipasa is to learn. Any Takers?
Many children make up, or begin to make up, imaginary languages. I have been at it since I could write.

I'm happy to watch and see, although I don't have any time apart from uni to learn anything. It certainly looks interesting enough. [:)]
