끝말잇기

What can I say? It doesn't fit above, put it here. Also the location of board rules/info.

끝말잇기

Post by Noshi187 » Fri 24 Nov 2017, 19:06

I believe this would fit best here. It's a fun game I learned a while ago for practicing Korean.

So one person says a noun (no verbs--dictionary form, stem, or conjugation), and the next person has to say a noun that starts with the last syllable of the noun said before. Let me give an example:

거미
미녀
여자 (This change is ok since 녀 and 여 are the same root, and no word in Korean starts with 녀.)
자기
기억
억양
양말
말꼬리
And so on...

Why don't we play a game of 끝말잇기? Comment with a noun that starts with the last syllable of the most recent one. And let's add an extra element for those of us working on learning vocab: You must include a definition of your word and a sample sentence.

I'll start us off with...
수저!
Definition: Spoon and chopsticks.
Sentence: 식사 준비를 했는데, 수저를 찾지 못했다.
(Feel free to make a correction to this sentence, I'm still learning!)
