I beg to differ regarding your analysis. It might be the case that this phrase is archaic in Indonesian, but in Malaysian it's quite vibrant and often heard. (Source: My work experiences in Malaysia)

Wow, I didn't know that. Maybe you should do a translation to Malaysian? With the new policy regarding flag icons they now refer exclusively to geographic areas and thus these translation can definitely exist on their own [:)]
