I
can definitively say: "rh" [X] is syllable initial; "kh" [x] is syllable final. [X] for "rh"
may be a misrepresentation since I don't really know how to IPA-render a mash of Dutch "gr-" (maybe?) and a breathy French "r" in "lettre". I've listened to sound samples 'til I wanna puke and simply thrown up my hands for the nonce. But thank you for asking.

If we take the French orthophony into account it is [ʁ] (which is the voiced counterpart of uvular fricative [X]), but I'm not sure about Dutch.

No, no. Definitely not voiced. In allegro speech, the "r" in "lettre" and the "l" in "peuple" get devoiced for non-native moi. But beyond that, Géarthnuns "rh" is not [ʁ], methinks. Maybe [X] is spot on, who knows, but "rh" feels 'r'-ier to me somehow. If one day I should stumble on a sound file that has me screaming "That's it!!" inappropriately on a crowded bus, I'll let you know. In the meantime, apologies for derailing the thread.

Don't want to further derail this either, but maybe the pronounciation of your <rh> could be described as [ʀ̥] (voiceless uvular trill) then.

"Colourless green" can be reduced to "Nisgûrdis" (Green without colour), but it would be too informal. This sentence would be considered as literature or poetry and so demands a more formal register.
