Orkish doesn't usually ask questions but assumptions. Therefore, you use the dummy argument "Ogrok" (a very usual Ork name) when you ask after persons, or "pagrunt" (to have a way) as a dummy verb for "how" questions.

In Silvish, polar questions, and content questions concerning the subject of the sentence, are identical to the equivalent declarative phrase. There's very likely a change in intonation though. Other content questions cause inversion of the subject and verb. Question words normally get fronted.

For responding to polar questions, Silvish has three words: ue for affirming positive questions, for contradicting negative questions and non for contradicting positive questions or affirming negative questions.

On a typographical level, Silvish largely borrows its punctuation conventions from French, so question marks are preceded by a no-break space.

In my dialect of Image Romanglic, to ask a content question, you either demand the information or form a noun phrase and give it question intonation. With the demand form, you can always be more polite and add "please". Contrary to the general trend in languages, questions about the subject of a sentence are more difficult to form.
