Re: How NOT to Conworld.

Hmm, I wonder if something like this would fit well into the Safir Alliance. o: Feel free to borrow the idea! I did a search on the CBB and found you were the creator of Xylphika, which changed its name a few years back, and that you're redeveloping your conworld. I'd like to see how Safir turns ou...

Whatever happened to tables? I see that they were implemented a while ago but that the markup involved no longer renders.

Re: How NOT to Conworld.

Also, what would it mean for other areas of interaction if women (or the equivalent) traveled more than men? Or if adults and young were seen as the same socially? How young is young? In the Lehola Galaxy, they have developed a technology called lifespeeding for most sapient species. After a baby i...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

I added the following words. Um… that's about it. I hate being indecisive and a perfectionist and unable to come up with ideas when I have a way to write them down. :< lílitāi n., f., anim. nomad (i.e. someone who studies the psionic discipline known as psychoportation) łiktan n., n., inan. bread ut...

Re: The Multiverse Inn

(After his outburst, Tangsu pays attention to what he's sensing and realizes it's just a message. He lets himself receive the message.) "Can you not talk, or do you just not want to? I might be a little paranoid, but I don't like hearing things without lips moving, if you know what I mean. And what...

(Looks at Argenzu's computer screen.) "Is that supposed to be a town? Seems like a boring game to me, like 'playing life'. That's certainly an interesting device you've got there. If it's not already obvious, I've never seen anything like it." (Tangsu looks up at Kikada after what sounded like a gi...

Re: The Multiverse Inn

Nico turns towards the newest of the newcomers as she begins some kind of distressingly high-pitched warbling --- people's voices shouldn't be that high in pitch! His eyes widen as steps forward into the room. Then she bows and places her hand, well, one of her left hands! on her chest. That must b...

Re: The Multiverse Inn

A four-armed, blue-skinned, and notably voluptuous female elvenoid enters the inn. She scans the room with vibrant amethyst eyes, absentmindedly running a hand through her intricately braided ankle-length dark teal hair. She removes a curved longsword, and a knife with similar furniture, from the r...

Re: Con-Script Development Centre

Thrice Xandvii, do you think it'd be possible for you to draw the Airumāli numbers and punctuation in the same style as the consonants? A friend of mine made a font for me, but the consonants do not at all match the numerals and punctuation (the latter two having been lifted from my handwriting). P...

Re: Con-Script Development Centre

Other than with musical notation (which becomes highly unwieldy when dealing with the necessary divisions of time, and whose precise mathematical division of time may not be amenable to this usage), how could I phonetically represent a syrinx-song language in writing?

Here's what I did with it. (Note that a vowel below a consonant is the second part of a diphthong.)

The word in the upper right corner is "Airumāli".
