I'd like to see a gloss, and with all those diacritics, I'd like to see a pronunciation too.

No not at all, it's a polysynthetic lang that's why [:'(]. I understand 'em very well, it's just always this daring.

Re: What did you accomplish today?

The last thing I did for Mets was the derivational morphology. I should get back into it but verbs are always very scary to begin! I'm probably going to reuse my alienable/inalienable system in the verb template for ergative/absolutive —that was from the original Mets' . In any case it's always a bi...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

Woah, that looks pretty difficult. Three extremely long words with a lot of doubled vowels, and a difficult gloss. It's not that hard [;)] Is it agglutinative, polynsynthetic, or both? And what does x stand for? It's polysynthetic. [jegɑ:ɬu:ɬy:waw kɨ:nutihɑ:ba:l hɨ:xu:tʷulu:t͡s] More!!! Awesome aes...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

I did a new phonology today for Mets 4.0, inspired by Plains Cree (obviously), Haida, and Kalaallisut. It's not perfect nor very interesting but here it is: /p t k q ʔ/ <p t k q '> /s t͡s h/ <s ts h> /m n ŋ/ <m n ng> /l j w/ <l y w> /a i u/ <a i u> /a: i: u:/ <aa ii uu> Vowel allophony: http://i59.t...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

Recently I've been rebuilding Selkut from the ground up (I do that a lot...) and I'm happy with what I have so far. Yesterday I started on the different noun classes and plurals but they may be subject to change: tamxar → itamxarem (PL.I-old_woman-PL.I) dax → dəx (PL.II/mountain) ʔudə → iʔodem (moon...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

Do you have the sound changes worked out? It seems like there are a lot of mergers going on with the consonants, at least in the examples you gave. [:D] Oh yes, a hell of a lot! About 80 consonants have been dwindled down to 28. I want the language to be distinct from its cousins because the people...
