Re: Are you a hunter-gatherer or a farmer?

The problem I have with this claim/theory is that it doesn't address the remainder of the MBTI (what about the SP and NJ types?). Therefore, it is incomplete and doesn't even consistently describe itself.

Having CSS for custom conscript fonts is a very excellent feature! [+1] (Most sites just don't understand how important this is) I would definitely recommend this website to other conlangers with conscripts. Unfortunately, I don't need a dictionary app so I won't use your site for now, but I will fo...

All verbs have an agent-oriented version and a patient-oriented form. I think they can be called active and passive voices, respectively, because if they are used in two-argument construction the passive has the same semantics as the active. Alone i.e. without a by-agent, the semantics of the passi...

I feel like if I were to use this site, it'll have the same problems as me using other sites or forums for this purpose, ie, there would be a lack of pictures to describe my conworld so it'll just be read like a normal wall-of-text wiki. In terms of gaming, how are the collaboration features there t...

Nvm, I'm not interested in altworlds even if it's scifi. Y'all can start without me.

Re: Any interest in starting a collaborative project?

Depends on what you mean by collaborative project. If you mean collaborative conworlds in the form of a descriptive encyclopedia like those by conlangers, then no. If you are referring to those as played in many gaming forums, then yes.

If you just want a name for that affix, perhaps try "pre-requisite affix" (based on your lang's anology) or "requestance affix" (I want to find/eat something, therefore I request myself to search/cook).

Thank you all for the answers! + Craft with the "intransitive", "patient" and "plural" affixes/constructions. Re: Have you created any idioms in your conlangs? What are some examples?

There are no idioms in my conlang. It is a direct and straight-to-the-point language. Furthermore, the native speakers believe that if one wants to obfuscate words and speech, there are already many ways to do it via reroutes and deceptive talking. However, there are folk sayings, which are just mes...

^There is no such relationship in that other natlang that I speak (you win!). It just uses per, ie: number per number, or like percent.

@ "trigger languages". I've read multiple times, Here and on the Other Board, that it's not quite about focus, and there was that big discussion about "conlang trigger alignment" and "real trigger alignment", sparked by a series of posts on the Ayeri blog . In the series the author concluded that "...

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

@Reyzadren Is it right to call it ‘passivisation’ though, in trigger langs, if there is no valence change? It is not more so a question of ‘focus-shifting’? Triggers aren't focuses. Some triggers do focus, but not all (eg, the triggers in my conlang don't focus at all). Also, most trigger natlangs ...
