Re: Chavresian

When they come after the Noun, it's a POSTposition. Or in your case, a suffixed postposition. ;)

And I've never heard of a dialect where they change postposition to preposition. :O

You've put a damn lot of work into this ;]
Great job. You've taken the phonology usually created by the newbies, and made it into a brilliant lang :D

Re: Affix Faves

Suffixesssss. I think in my earlier Conlanging days I made a lang that inflected every case with a suffix, made plurality with a suffix, and made different articles with suffixes too.

Re: Knowing When You've Achieved Fluency

I think fluency is when you feel like the language's grammar has become 'part' of your mind, you are capable of thinking in the 'zone' of that language, if you know what I mean. If you can do that, you most likely can speak it confidently too.

Oh. I see.
And I haven't seen any other language with an auxiliary verb simply for emphasizing/arguing.

"I do go to the beach on Sundays!"
"No you do not!"

Re: English is Freaky

English has imperitive morphology...? I must be wrong, but morphology talks about how the words change to give different meanings...and English doesn't do that for the imperitive. :o

I'd probably have thought that the simpler languages were analytic, with few actual cases.

Re: Arcúrménas

Seems pretty difficult to understand for me. What do you mean by 'consonant groups'? And try not to use one letter for diphthongs! English is retarded!

Re: Politeness

Politeness is very simple in mine at the moment. Do not insult somebody's fighting power (males) or Crafting Ability (females). Use the proper greetings to those more powerful than you + higher ranked. Use "Please" and "Thank You" to those you do not know very well.

A little negative, but my Cold made me think about the creation of diseases in ConWorlds. Anyone made any fictional diseases for theirs?
