Middle Rymakonian: Deontic recommendation ("should") is marked by <-₄> on the verb. (<₄> is a "halfway" version of the rod signal <4>.)
What's a rod signal?

I made a new avatar themed toward the forum design and using the Vingdagese character for 37.

Why oh why do your posts say "clongo!" For what purpose do you change the abbreviation!?

Reyzadren - have you received the torch? I'm not entirely certain who last had it now, as we've skipped two people.
No, there are no new PMs in my inbox.

EDIT: Batonpassing from kiwikami/Fluffy8x to Lao Kou.
Weird, I sent it to you.
Edit: I resent it.

Re: Con-Script Development Centre

The descriptions are more synchonic than diachronic... The functioning of this writing dedicated to this language is interesting, and practical... Kinships are putative and indicative, and, in terms of constructed languages, a kind of self-celebration... ...what does any of this mean in the context...

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX

I honestly think I might need to get skipped in general, instead. I'm kinda not feeling the time limit on this whole thing as I've been in a bit of an "off" streak as far as conlanging goes. Sorry y'all.

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX

I work tonight and tomorrow and won't have a chance to even look at the Torch until after my window, let alone coin new terms and pass it along. In fact, I likely won't have much time until maaaaybe Monday or more likely Thursday... Should I just pass it along?

Watchmen. Not really mythology, but a really good graphic novel nonetheless. Also, more to your point... Look into Sandman stuff by Mr. Neil Gaiman. I haven't read it myself, but my God is there some mythos there!

Re: How to start worldbuilding?

That is a pair of ridiculously open-ended and multi-faceted questions. Any sort of spark of an idea can get world-building started. Some will go high-science and design full planets and solar systems within physical constraints, where others are more fantasy in their approach and just have a cool ae...

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that Eldin isn't asserting that any of those phrases are always, or have to be, said by children at the listed (or any specific) ages per se, but is instead attempting to give some setting information for discussing some early repetitive phrasing of children base...
