I've got the verbs and nouns partially sorted out and also a couple of sentences for a new project. I still have to sort out the consonant gradation rules as I tend to go a bit mad with it... Re: Pronunciation vexation confessions.

I'm actually from Shropshire which is in the Midlands though our accents are quite similar to West Country accents. There is a lot of influence from Welsh and Welsh English in our speech as we're right on the border. During the early 20th century, a lot of farms in the county went bust so there was ...

Re: Pronunciation vexation confessions.

I get [f] and [v] and [θ] and [ð] confused and turn [w] into [ɹʷ].

Consequently I end up saying things like:

[əˈnʌθ] for enough
[baːf] for bath
[ɹʷɑɪt] for white

Re: Interesting Ideas

I started to make a phonetically reversed version of English a couple of years ago.

For example:

language > [ʒdɪʊ̯gˈŋal] <
computer > [ətˈʉ̯ɵɪ̯ʰpməʰk]

The syntax is also reversed:

[ni̯ɪʊ̯˞g zɪ ʊ̯˞əˈlɜʰk ʔəʊ̯˞ˈvɪ̯ɛf ɪ̯ɑm]
