With all the personal pronouns added to https://damta.fandom.com/wiki/Txabao-English_dictionary, Txabao is up to 266 words.

I've been adding some grammar to our Damta-Wiki, though I'm not too happy with the limited formatting options on there, making, for example, my tables look quite unappealing and rendering some sub-headings way smaller than the actual paragraph text, which doesn't make for a very clear structure [¬.¬]

I also have a somewhat solid vocabulary stock now (500ish entries), but not sure about the ideal way to enter it into the Wiki (original format is a Word table). A table sortable by any of the columns would be ideal, but I doubt fandom.wikia caters to that!

Where I've really slacked off is the worldbuilding, as well as my script, which have both sat in the metaphorical / digital drawer untouched for months now.

Would anybody like to put some rivers onto our world, or could we each do as we please there?

I can put some rivers down since I want to update the map anyway if you guys are okay with it then can modify as you guys desire.

I so want to get back to this. My life is sad right now.

Please go ahead and water our continent [:D]

I hope nothing too serious, apart from the lack of conlanging/conworlding opportunities? [:|]

You can place one major river in the desert. The speakers of one of the daughterlangs of Txabao will settle there, and they'll speak Damta's equivalent of Ancient Egyptian (this river, with hippopotami, crocodiles, ibises, and plovers, will be like the Nile).

Nothing serious, just time constraints luckily :(

I shall do so with the river. Just so I don't mess this up. What grid section/s are you thinking?

Glad about that then - while time constraints are deplorable (I am affected too much myself by them), the alternative would have been worse!

Feel free to also put some rivers (I'd differentiate huge ones and some smaller ones) in my area (mainly E4 and other areas east of the huge mountain range) - I have no requirements there, so you'd have free rein.

Woo! Do you by the way know a way to put a sortable table into a Fandom article? I've been reluctant to post vocab articles so far cause just a plain list without rows and the possibility to sort by either language seems harder to maintain (and less nice to look at).

The wikitable of Wikipedia works in fandom wiki too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Table

Below is the code for Sortable tables:

Code: Select all

{| class="wikitable sortable"
|+ Sortable table
|-
! scope="col" | Alphabetic
! scope="col" | Numeric
! scope="col" | Date
! scope="col" class="unsortable" | Unsortable
|-
| d || 20 || 2008-11-24 || This
|-
| b || 8 || 2004-03-01 || column
|-
| a || 6 || 1979-07-23 || cannot
|-
| c || 4 || 1492-12-08 || be
|-
| e || 0 || 1601-08-13 || sorted.
|}
I prefer to not be referred to with masculine pronouns and nouns such as “he/him/his”.

Thank you! [:D]
you are welcome (:

also I wonder if it is possible to make more ethnolinguistic groups in the areas we have?

We definitely need more. We haven't had any new people joining the Damta project in a while.

Does everyone here give the green light to me introducing the Prömkhongkhong and the Gwapikiru? The former group probably won't leave any living descendant languages by PS 13000. The latter will be a modern tribe who will still probably need a proto-lang.

The more the better I think! That goes both for developing additional languages yourselves and recruiting new members [:D]
