I've taken 1000 of the most common words in English and am now trying to define them in Toki Pona, but I can't figure out what word or combination of words would make "to be on top". Maybe I've looked over the correct word in the Toki Pona Dictionary [:S]. Help [D:].

tawa sewi

This is used as "to the area above." That's probably as close as you're gonna get. It would be easier to help if you gave the entire phrase you want to use.

Hello!
Can we talk about language here, too?

(Also, is that a good sentance?)
Playing the biggest game of Chinese telephone is fun.

mi ken toki toki. taso mi pilin e ni: sina wile toki e "mi ken ala ken toki toki?" anu "mi ken toki toki, anu seme?".
We can talk about language. But I think, you have to say "mi ken ala ken toki toki?" or "mi ken toki toki, anu seme?"

kama sona mi pi toki pona li lon tenpo pini mute· mi lon kulupu mute pi toki pona li toki mute kepeken ona·
kin la toki pona mi li ken namako a· kulupu lon mi li jo e nasin toki ante mute· nasin ni li ken pona· jan mute la ona li ike li ante suli ike· mi pilin e pona ona·
ante pi toki namako ni li suli ala· taso la ante pu ale la jan li ken pilin ike·

I can see this thread is not all that active. Maybe we can bring it back to life. Does anyone still speak toki pona here?
I learned toki pona a long time ago now. I'm in quite a few different groups relating to toki pona and I'm quite active in them.
Though the groups I'm in can be quite whacky - the main one I'm in is known for having developed a specific dialect of toki pona. It can be quite good and interesting, though for many people it's too big a deviation from proper toki pona. I like it though.
The differences in the dialect aren't that big but many people get angry at even the slightest deviation from pu (""standard"") toki pona.
