For me, 公路 and 馬路 are roads you can drive cars on while 街道 you may or may not. 公路 are more likely to refer to roads connecting cities than roads in cities and 公路(public road) are not private owned while 馬路 could be private owned. 街道 generally refer to smaller roads and streets with residence/shops and the term may refer to both the street and its residence/shops at the same time.GrandPiano wrote:“公路”和“马路”是一样的意思吧？
