Now, it's Weather Report. Live.
Gotta give props to homeboy Jaco Pastorius (born in Bridgeport, PA {technically, Norristown, right nearby}).

Not to be confused with the Live Weather Report that I am also watching.

When I was very little, I used to think Weather Report and Steely Dan were the same band. Silly me.

My son and I are watching Remembrance of the Daleks. It's not as flash as the new series that he is accustomed to, but, for what it was, it was not bad. Not enough Davros-time though. And this episode is the closest thing to a DW Easter Basket, so many fan-eggs.

Also, listening to the music of snow-shovels chopping their way through the caked snow/slush/ice that a freak storm dumped on us today. First day of Spring?! Nay, nay, nay: the Eleventy-First day of Winter, Elau be praised!!!

I like that Grammatik track! It's hypnotic and defies easy labelling - urban klezmer?

And Lambuzhao's Joy Division and Weather Report, definitely!

My latest musical discovery is this Brazilian guy, he takes traditional brazilian music and does modern DJ-type things to it, though sometimes there's reggae influence, too, like here:

DJ Dolores - Matilha
Good: :fra: :esp: :por: | OK :ita:

Just came back from voting and felt like listening to some political music. Sadly I haven't heard any good tunes from these parliamentary elections so have an otherwise topical track

and something topical to the last time

I started watching Daredevil--it's a lot more violent than I expected, but I've really been enjoying it.

I like military songs.
John Philip Sousa composed many for America.
There is a game that presents an awesome anthem for the Soviet Union.

The best national anthems are from Russia, France, Israel and Australia.
English is not my native language. Sorry for any mistakes or lack of knowledge when I discuss this language.

Listening to an old favorite: Guido Luciani.

Spanish-style guitar.

Crisp, fresh not too over the top.
Great for marking a sea of tests, or a mountain of projects,
Or just sitting with a glass of red wine & nuggets of queso fresco,
and feeling the cool Spring breezes
waft through my kitchen.

Guido Luciani - Azucar: The Magic of Spanish Guitar
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... cf16IKow6k
(there's 17 viddies, I think some repeat b/c my old CD has only 9 tracks. But who's counting!

I'm running through a list of songs by Skindred, Arkona, Kontrust and Russkaja. Being drunk brings out my fun side [:D]

EDIT: This is confusing me!!!
You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.

Nice. Very simple style.

I like a little fuller style:
