The Majestic 4th Conversation Thread

What can I say? It doesn't fit above, put it here. Also the location of board rules/info.

Also what is made of good cheddar cheese.

(Yeah, I know --- those are just "stereotypical" depictions of cheese, not actual cheddar cheese! But you'd be amazed how many actual stronomers do nòt realise the Moon is actually made from cheddar cheese! [o.O] )

Or Majestic Conversation Thread eradications. I don't know what is considered critical mass back on Mount Olympus, but at 400+ pages, a Majestic 5th Conversation Thread could be nigh (or not). Granted, a lot of it is immemorable water cooler schmooze (useful to community bonding, but worth eternal byte-space?) and the gods do provide plenty of forewarning. But hearken unto Lao Delphi (pass the bowl of smoldering hallucinogens, if you would), if there be stuff here you like, save it elsewhere, because that day, it is a-comin'.
Say it isn't so.

I don't think autistic people are exempt from this despite of their social inabilities, and it is said that autistic people tend to get friends with disabilities if they can make friends.

It is also said that autistic people tend to get along with people of the different gender and even different ethnicities, I think a major reason for this phenomenon is not because they have less in-group favorism(that autistic people are likely to make friends with people with disabilities might be a sign that in-group favorism also exists among autistic people), but because they are often like exiles who are exiled from the expected groups that they would belong to as an in-group member if they were neurotypical.

Well you'd think that, but that doesn't really work in my case, because my school, and my area more generally has comparatively low proportions both of disabled people and of ethnic minorities, and as a result I'm not entirely comfortable around either, even though I am autistic. If I'd grown up surrounded by these people and knowing BAME and disabled people as friends I'd probably have been more comfortable being around them than I am, but I haven't. But then I've also always been relatively accepted by my school and the wider community (I've never experienced significant bullying or discrimination for instance), which makes me something of an anomaly.

(Mind you, the article does infuriate by using the word "ideographs" in relation to Chinese)

I can't remember a specific verb for when something is haphazardly crashing about, such as like some wild boar rampaging in a room knocking things about.

Dhorgroromarandein.

Also applicable to bulls in china shops and oliphants in glass factories.

In higher registers, you can replace the root for boar with the root for any other actively romping beastockie.

I was looking for an English word not a conword.

The first English verb to come to my mind is "ricochet".
"Bumble" might be just as close.
I suspect neither of them is perfectly satisfactory.

I would have thought that the default answer, since Ahzoh didn't mention anything about conlangs in the question, would be an English word.

@Ahzoh: Now you've got me wracking my brain trying to come up with the right term for it, too.

run amok
go beserk
go rampant
go wild
get into a frenzy
go into a fit of madness/rage/frenzy

Except Ahzoh actually used the word rampaging in his original question, so that is definitely not the word he's looking for.

I also thought of bumble, but that, to my mind at least, conveys a sense of clumsy inability to control one's movements rather than violent thrashing and flailing about.
