I begun making my own languages when I was still learning a native language (probably because I heard a lot of foreign languages, but nobody bothered to teach them to me, so I thought "screw this, I can talk nonsense too!"). Two years later I was taught Latin alphabet, and I immediately devised a writing system of my own. The Ahtialan language I described on the Internet for the first time in 2006, it acquired its modern form (genuine grammatical structures) in 2003, the earliest dictionary I have comes from 1999, the writing system comes from 1996 or 1997, and the idea for the language, some sounds and word-formation rules, symbolic colours and basic ideas about the conworld and especially the currency started when I was a little bugger. I consider the 1994 as the starting point not because it was a genuine language back then (come on, I was 3 or 4), but because the idea for the language - and therefore, my work on it - started in these times.
Ahtialan was the second language, one older than it did not develop a writing system and became extinct before 2000.

Also, because it looks impressive on forums and I like to exaggerate, even if I can back it up.

What did Ahtialan look like in 1994? I'm curious about the kind of conlang that a 3/4-year-old would come up with.

Something like this:

http://www.graywizard.net/littlestconlanger.htm

She's now in her 20s, and I have no idea if she still conlangs or not, but she was 5ish when the Grey Wizard first introduced her work 15 years ago!

Maybe she still conlangs on the DL?

Quite similar to what elemtilas implied, just mine had "ą", "ę", "ł", "dż" and no "x", "v", "q" apart from basic Latin letters. It also featured long vowel chains, such as "aaeao", which is a feature that still occurs in this language. Final [fst] was a chain of consonants that often appeared, a bit later I made this the final morpheme of verbs, spelled "vst" (вsт).
That was a "secret speech" made by this method at that time.

I've only just glanced at Wendoth, but I like what I've seen so far. I especially enjoyed the attention to historical detail. Oh, and welcome to the board.

Thanks! Wendoth is 5 years old, and there are some things I'd probably do differently now. Some of the sound changes it's supposed to have gone through are a bit dodgy, for example. But I am quite proud of it nevertheless.
