GrandPiano wrote:What did Ahtialan look like in 1994? I'm curious about the kind of conlang that a 3/4-year-old would come up with.
Quite similar to what elemtilas implied, just mine had "ą", "ę", "ł", "dż" and no "x", "v", "q" apart from basic Latin letters. It also featured long vowel chains, such as "aaeao", which is a feature that still occurs in this language. Final [fst] was a chain of consonants that often appeared, a bit later I made this the final morpheme of verbs, spelled "vst" (вsт).
That was a "secret speech" made by this method at that time.

I've only just glanced at Wendoth, but I like what I've seen so far. I especially enjoyed the attention to historical detail. Oh, and welcome to the board.

Thanks! Wendoth is 5 years old, and there are some things I'd probably do differently now. Some of the sound changes it's supposed to have gone through are a bit dodgy, for example. But I am quite proud of it nevertheless.

You can stay [:)]
You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.

No, not really [:)] I've just always wanted to visit Sweden, Norway, Denmark (and the Faroe islands, more so than Greenland), Finland and Iceland, so it's nice when members can potentially shine a light on these northern nations, as I believe you can too, IIRC.

I didn't entirely mean "you can stay" in a serious manner, more jokingly, in the sense of "I like this stuff", so I apologise if any other intent was inferred, and, of course, I have no say in who may or may not be a member of this board.
