I just looked up Pennsylvania’s “Onion Snow” because of reading your post above. Isn’t it (or is it) still too early in the Spring for us to call it “onion snow”? (I’m new to the term so I don’t really know. ). After Beltane or Walpurgisnacht if it snows that’ll be the 2nd half of spring; wouldn’t ( or would) “onion snow” be more “appropriate” a term then?
