I computed the sound changes for the numbers - VĪGÍNTĪ > "vijínte" (twenty) - how would it sound better, <vinte> [ˈvintɛ], <veginte> [veˈʒintɛ] or <vezinte> [veˈd͡zintɛ]?
Vinte.

I have "βηγήντε" [βi.'jin.te], because the hiatus is pre-tonic [the hiatus what would arise if I dropped the glide; viïnte], and that is a no-go. But simplified βήντε ['βin.te] is not unheard-of in more colloquial registers.

Els silvófons dïon "vinti".

I find it interesting that most (if not all) Romance languages deleted the /g/ in "viginti".

xD pfft ofc I can! I made Portuguese... I'm joking, but it's my L3.

Spanish, my L1, has veinte, ['bejn.te], with a really weird diphthong we simplify to ["ben.te] virtually always.

Cuest no me sorprend tant per ca /g/ no foi palatalizat davant /o/.
[ˈkʊ̯ɛst nɔ mɛ sɔɾˈpɾɛn tant pɛɾ ka ˈgɛ nɔ ˈfɔɪ̯ palataliˈtsat daˈvant ˈo]
That doesn't surprise me as much because /g/ didn't palatalize before /o/.

Els refleiss de paraulas com "pagensis" e "regina" m'encaligzan mais.
[ɛls rɛˈflɛɪ̯s dɛ paˈɾaʊ̯las ˈkɔm paːˈgeːnsis ɛ reːˈgiːna mɛŋkaˈledʑan ˈmaɪ̯s]
The reflexes of words like "pagensis" and "regina" confuse me more.

Pera, vign de costar uni mudl en francesi:
[ˈpɛɾa ˈveɲ dɛ kɔsˈtaɾ ʊnɪ ˈmoɪ̯ ɛn fɾanˈtɕɛzɪ]
Wait, I just noticed a pattern in French:

viginti > vingt /vɛ̃/
pagensem > pays /pei/
reginam > reine /ʁɛn/
vaginam > gaine /gɛn/

/g/ suofre el lenizioni cara guecz c'encev un sillab tónic, bien ca precedeva un vouali anteriori.
/ˈgɛ ˈsufɾɛl lɛnɪˈtsɪ̯ɔnɪ ˈkaɾa ˈgɛtɕ kɛnˈtɕɛʊ̯ ʊn sɪlˈlap ˈtɔnɪk ˈbin ka pɾɛtɕɛˈdɛva ʊn vɔˈʊ̯alɪ antɛˈɾɪ̯ɔɾɪ/
/g/ lenited every time it began a stressed syllable, even though it preceded a front vowel.
