Goose pimples sounds weird to me too. I've heard it before but I think it's only British. I don't know if it's the most disgusting thing I've heard. I think one of the German words for nipples is worse: Brustwarzen - yes, breast warts.

(Literally: Body hair is standing at me. The Ngolu, the men at least, are generally hairy enough to associate it more with the hair than just the skin-lumps. The locative could also be replaced with the genitive.)
