ni-na-kw-end-a soko-ni ili ni-nunu-e chakula
1s-PRES-EXT-go-Ø market-LOC in.order 1s-buy-SBJV food(7)

I'm going to the market to buy some food.

Ninakwenda could also be ninaenda because this verb is sometimes conjugated regularly, without the extention thingy. Instead of ili ninunue "so that I buy", you could also simply use ili kununua "in order to buy", but the syllable count of the subjunctive and the infinitive is always the same and using the subjunctive form increases the redundancy in the sentence, which is a good thing - also it seems to be more common.

(I'm kind of using this language to play with noun incorporation, polypersonal agreement, and optional case marking. The syntax and some of the morphology is still pretty early; my lexicon is still under 100 words.)

Notes:
- Markets don't traditionally exist in the Soo ta Aangii culture, because they are originally a nomadic people of gatherers (they do not hunt for religious reasons). They borrowed the Hafnjan term bere, /ˈbe͡irʊ/.
- Want and need are the same verb in Soo ta Aangii. They do not consider it possible to want something you do not need.

Not 100% sure how Qutrussan will handle 'in order to' clauses yet.

This is actually a conjunction and no embedding because this is the usual strategy for such sentences in this conlang. The 'in order to' is inferred from the context.

go.PRS-1SG to market(.ACC) in.order.to buy.PRF-1SG food-SG.ACC (/some food-SG.GEN)

I'm going (to go) to the market so that I can buy (some) food.

There are to variants to say this in Cissian. The Eastern and Central dialects prefer to use the infinitive after "да́би" while the other dialect conjugate the verb for person and number. It's also not really possible in Cissian to "be going to go" because the future tense for "иде́м" /iˈdʲem/ would be "ит-де́м" /iˈdʲem/ if it existed.
