He's as tall as me. (≈ "He's equally tall with me.")

Hue jagi ju, (lo) nia nu.

He's taller than me. (≈ He's more tall (while) I'm less.)

Tavi hueva ko jagi ju.
child more-all similar tall NOM.1s.ICS
He's the tallest child.
(The ko is added because a child cannot be described as jagi, only as ko jagi because of complicated gender stuff. If the "he" in the other sentences is referring to a child (or a man who has not passed the initiation rite), jagi will be replaced by ko jagi.)

Um, what is the difference between kohdaj and kohdazaj. "More taller" is, prescriptively, not correct English and if anyone says it, I assume they just mean "taller". Does it mean "much / a lot taller"?

"Ö" is also in the comparative as well. "Groesser" is an acceptable substitution for "größer" only if you can't type those characters ... or in Switzerland, where "ß" is not used (but "ö" is). And yeah, "ich" is correct.

(The verb indicating the modified noun identifies a set or member of a set to which the
sentence's focus belongs uses, amusingly enough, the same root as the "equivalence"
verb used in the first sentence above, but in the intransitive. Huzzah, coincidences!)
Edit: Substituted a string instrument for a French interjection.

:con: Jïwaa'rkenon

In Jïwaa'rkenon there are basically two ways to translate these phrases. The shorter versions, which are quite direct translations, sound more neutral than the longer, 'difficult' ones.

Ciimonye taali sai.
ciimon-ye taali sai.
tall-1SG like 3SG.
I am as tall as him.

Loro sai lakuth ciimonuyra daabi loroye.
lor-o sai lak-uth ciimon-u-yra daabi lor-o-ye
represent-PRS 3SG person-INST.PL tall-INST-1PL.EXCL same represent-PRS-1SG
He is as tall as me. (lit: 'He represents tall people, who we are, the same as I do.')
___
Ciimonsum sai'ja yendo.
ciimon-sum sai uuja yendo
tall-COMP 3SG than 1SG.
He is taller than me.

Loro sai lakuth ciimonuyra maada loroye.
lor-o sai lak-uth ciimon-u-yra maada lor-o-ye
represent-PRS 3SG person-INST.PL tall-INST-1PL.EXCL more represent-PRS-1SG.
He is taller than me. (lit: 'He represents tall people, who we are, more.')
___
Ciimonsum sai'ja dasaainobaal.
ciimon-sum sai uuja dasaa-i-no-baal.
tall-COMP 3SG than child-NOM.PL-other-all
He is the tallest child. (lit: 'He is taller than all other children')

Loro sai dasaauthbaal ciimonubaal maada loro dasaaino.
lor-o sai dasaa-uth-baal ciimon-u-baal maada lor-o dasaa-i-no.
represent-PRS 3SG child-INST.PL tall-INST-all tall-INST-all more represent-PRS child-NOM.PL-other
He is the tallest child. (lit: 'He represents tall children, who they all are, more than the other children do.')

In colloquial speech, one can leave out the loroye / loro dasaaino at the end of the sentences.
