Id de quo locutus es mirandus viditur, male mathematicae cursum facturus sum universitate nec erit ullus similis ibi.

De alio ad loquendum, brevi tempore ibo ad tabernam librariam emere volens, ex ceteris, librum latinae qui continet voces usitatas, possitne aliquis certiorem me facere de quales libros emere debeo?

Wow. yet another reason why Lingua Latina is all kinds of awesome.

so, looking for a latin verb to use for 'necro', I was backpedaling etymologies unto necromantia/necromanteia.

Which comes from Etruscan. But be there a Latinate verb? :wat:

Nonetheless, there was a less-used Latin verb mantissare, which means, of all things superaddere, accumulare : 'to add upon yet again', or 'to accumulate'.
https://books.google.com/books?id=EqLYb ... re&f=false

Which is essentially what necroing is doing with an auncient post, after a long (indeterminate) time. Unless we're playing AD&D or suchlike. [B)]

Thus, i dub the neologism: necromantissare. Feel free to copypasta into your romlangs and :lat: :con: langs, or anywhere else.

Cannot find a neologism for, of all things, 'cable tv'.

My tosses into the hat include:
televisio coaxialis (coaxial {cable} tv)
televisio subscripta (subscribed tv)
televisio subscribilis (tv which is subscribable)
televisio premialis ( premium tv … he he he  )

I originally calqued :ita: / :fra: / :esp: "cable tv"
but

televisio per funes or televisio funibus felt too much like something like "tv with rigging", or "tv on the ropes", or somesuch. [¬.¬]

I will gratefully accept any other suggestions.

Looking outside, the overcast skies portend rain. I checked Google to see if such a word as *pluibundus/a/um existed;
incredibly, no.

So, folks, I'm coining it in :lat: pluibundus/a/um 'on the point of raining, on the verge of rain falling'.
Based on similar deverbal ADJs like moribundus, ludibundus, etc of the 3rd & 4th conjugations.

Also, therefore, I'm coining an English descendant pluibund with the same meaning.
Of course, descendants in other natlangs are welcome! [;)]

Lambucibundus/-a/-um : on the verge of being treated to delectable morsels of mirabilia; cf. lambucibilia such morsels (Cic., Prisc., Luc.Sam., Patr., etc.) q.v.
