CBB Lexicon Building

Post by roninbodhisattva » 16 Aug 2010 19:53

There's one of these threads over at the ZBB, so I figured I would start one over here. It's a great way to build words you may not have thought of into your conlang's vocabulary. The idea is this. One person posts a word in their conlang, and then a word/concept for the next person to translate. The next person translates that word, and it keeps on going. I'll start with the word that I just translated over at the ZBB:

vurjate [vurʲʝatɛ]- 'to do something without expectations of any kind of positive feedback' (there's also a kind of implied 'for someone')

Next word: afraid
